Worthy

Verse 1:

We lift our voices and sing a new song
Of your great love, and your mercies new
How You reached down
And turned our hearts of stone to flesh
We sing of how You sent your son to die
Placed in our stead, your wrath was spared from us
That we might know
Praise be to God we know, the truth

Chorus:

Once dead, but by your grace
From sin and death, we’re saved
You’re worthy of all praise
You are worthy

Joy, freedom, peace, and truth
Are only found in You
All praise and honor due
You are worthy God
You are worthy God

Verse 2:

We lift our voices and sing a new song
Of how your grace is poured out onto us
How good You are
To call us from the dark into light
We sing of how You alone are God
And there is none that compares to You
Unite our hearts
In who You are and what you’ve done!

Come Thou Fount (Above All Else)

Verse 1:

Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise

Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love

Verse 2:

Here I raise mine Ebenezer
Hither by Thy help I’m come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home

Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wand’ring from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood

Verse 3:

O to grace how great a debtor
Daily I’m constrained to be
Let thy goodness, like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee

Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here’s my heart, Lord, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above

Chorus:

All else, I adore Your name
Above all else tune my heart to sing Your praise
(4x)

The highest praise
The loudest praise
To the name above every name

The Power of the Cross

Verse 1:

Oh, to see the dawn
Of the darkest day
Christ on the road to Calvary
Tried by sinful men
Torn and beaten, then
Nailed to a cross of wood

Chorus:

This, the pow’r of the cross
Christ became sin for us
Took the blame, bore the wrath
We stand forgiven at the cross

Verse 2:

Oh, to see the pain
Written on Your face
Bearing the awesome weight of sin
Ev’ry bitter thought
Ev’ry evil deed
Crowning Your bloodstained brow

Verse 3:

Now the daylight flees
Now the ground beneath
Quakes as its Maker bows His head
Curtain torn in two
Dead are raised to life
“Finished!” the vict’ry cry

Verse 4:

Oh, to see my name
Written in the wounds
For through Your suffering I am free
Death is crushed to death
Life is mine to live
Won through Your selfless love

Chorus 2:

This, the pow’r of the cross
Son of God, slain for us
What a love! What a cost!
We stand forgiven at the cross
